January 2008 was the start of my new adventure. A business whose end is to offer all the information you need to travel in Central America; be for business or vacation.

From volunteer to entrepreneur

Since 1984 I have worked with different development projects, above all in Nicaragua and El Salvador, but also in Guatemala and Honduras. During this time I have had the opportunity to travel a lot in this beautiful and interesting region.

Alfa Travel Guide, the travel guide to Central America

In 1999 I launched Alfa Travel Guide Guide as a hobby to share my know-how of the region. This website now has almost 60.000 visits each month. They are tourists from the entire world, but most are Central Americans visiting a neighboring country.

Tourism in El Salvador, the travel guide to El Salvador

In May 2007 I bought another travel guide, Tourism in El Salvador. It has extensive information on the different tourist destinations of El Salvador. My intention is to develop it to one of the best tourist guides of El Salvador.

Agoo, a dream come true

A dream has become reality. What began as a hobby now has become my business. I will have the time to make the two guides better and better. And who knows, in the future there might be a third travel guide with the name of agoo.
